Flussbad Berlin
The project "Flussbad Berlin" has set itself the goal of redefining the usage of the spree river tributary channel, located in the historical center.
The river will be used, within a length of 750 meters, as a swimming pool.
In the upper part, having a total of 1.6 km length, the watercourse will be transformed to a biotope landscape with filter plants which will be used for the natural water purification.
As part of the funding from the federal program “Nationale Projekte des Städtebaus " the early phase of the project consisted of providing information for the general public and all stakeholders.
