Central stormwater treatment

The surface area has a huge impact on the runoff. To achieve a reduction of stormwater runoff, the following measures should be considered:

• Minimizing the land sealing
• Incorporate permeable design concepts for paved areas
• Unsealing of sealed surfaces

In respect to the central treatment of stormwater, which is usually at the end of a catchment area, the use of the following plant components are to be understood:

• stormwater sedimentation tanks
• Soil filter for stormwater treatment
