Runoff control

The type of surface receiving rainfall has a direct effect on managing runoff. To achieve a reduction of rainfall runoff, the following measures can be taken:

•  Minimizing sealed surfaces

•  Incorporate permeable paving or surface design

• Unsealing of sealed surfaces
