On the 30th and 31st of October the second Annual Meeting of the RainDROP Project was held in Vsetin, Czech Republic. All Project Partners were represented there and exchanged their results and experiences so far. Amongst one another, but also with 75 urban water researchers and specialists from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

On the first day a special children's conference was held in the Youth Environmental House in Vsetin, with children from the Czech Republic as well as their peers from Slovakia. This meeting was openend by the Vice-Mayor of Vsetin and was recorded by the local television station. After an introduction to the RainDROP Project and a small amount of theory, the children went on to their experiments and projects, which they prepared within the scope of rainwater in the cities.

The second day was reserved for the main international conference, where up to 75 participants from throughout the region and from different stake-holders discussed the topics of decentral storm water management and implementation in urban water master planning. The conference was an extraordinarily lively event, where participants from all different angles of the working field exchanged ideas, comments and experiences.

During the second conference day an excursion was organised to the pilot project site in Vsetin, to see one of many possible decentral storm water measures in function.
