LESAM 2017: Leading Edge Sustainable Asset Management of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Conference. Trondheim, Norway on the 20-22 June 2017
Topics of the seventh LESAM conference included this year among other:
- best practices in Integrated Asset Management (IAM) organizational implementation
- advanced data management and IT systems implementation
- innovative technologies for condition monitoring and assessment and modeling solutions
IPS presented the early warning system PankIS with the poster "Runoff prediction and flood warning for a small river catchment supported by a web interface in Berlin". The project was funded by the Senate Department for Urban Development and Environment of the city of Berlin and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The early warning system - which warns timely for flood hazard of the river Panke - was developed in cooperation with the Berlin water companies (BWB), 3S Sensor System Solution and HydroSystemTechnik (HST). It is successfully in use for already two years.
